Municipal Law for Board Members

On Friday evening, June 6, 2025, the seminar "Municipal Code 2 – Municipal Law for Board Members" took place at the regional office of the Styrian Freedom Party with Mayor Gottfried Sperl. The three-hour evening seminar covered not only the municipal board according to the municipal code, but also general rights and responsibilities, as well as the loss of mandates and the public nature of meetings. Topics such as the chair, the issue of bias, and the duties of the municipal treasurer, as well as cash and accounting, were explained in more detail. After the seminar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the seminar content and actively engage in discussion. The seminar is primarily aimed at new officials.
